Interdisciplinary Ph.D. - Health Studies Track

Dalhousie University offers an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. programme with a Health Studies Track.  This programme has been specifically designed to be flexible and thus meet the needs of all the professions represented in the Faculty of Health Professions. 

Applications are welcome from students who have:

• A research Master's degree in a Health or a Health Profession, or an acceptable equivalent
• A proposal describing the area of research that is interdisciplinary
• The agreement of a qualifed supervisor and two other tentative members to serve on the supervisory committee.  At least one of these three should be from a School/College or department external to that of the supervisor
• Adequate funding arrangements for at least two years
• Adequate space so the student has a "home" and access to equipment to support the student's program of studies and research.
